Condition Terms
To keep listings consistent and easy to understand, sellers must use the following condition terms when describing items:
NWT – New With Tag
- Brand new, never worn, with original retail tags attached.
NIB – New In Bag/Box
- Brand new, still in its original packaging. May not include a retail tag, but the item has never been opened or used.
NWOT – New Without Tag
- Brand new, never worn, but missing the original tag.
EUC – Excellent Used Condition
- Previously worn but looks almost new. No visible flaws, stains, or major signs of wear.
GUC – Good Used Condition
- Shows some minor signs of wear (such as light fading or small marks) but still in good, wearable condition.
Play – Play Condition
- Well-loved, with noticeable signs of wear. May include marks, stains, or other imperfections. Best for everyday use or play clothes.
NFO – Not First Owner
- Pre-owned item that was purchased secondhand before being listed on Snagged.
Other Terms
Boujee Brand
- Term for boutique, high-quality, and often hard-to-find children’s clothing labels. These are the only brands approved on the platform.
BST – Buy, Sell, Trade
- A general term for communities where people list items for sale, buy from others, or swap items.
HTF – Hard To Find
- Refers to rare, discontinued, or high-demand items that are tough to come by.
Cross-Posted
- An item that’s listed on multiple platforms at once. Sellers must remove it from Snagged if it sells elsewhere.
